Ordinance No. ~ 3 S ~- V AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FIXING THE MAXIMUM SALARIES AND WAGES OF TEAMSTER EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE CALENDAR YEARS 2003, 2004, 2005, AND 2006. Statement of Purpose and Intent This Ordinance sets forth the monetary aspects of the tentative agreement reached between the City Negotiating Team and the Teamster's Negotiating Team on Tuesday, August 6, 2002 which was later ratified on Thursday, August 15, 2002, by members of the Teamster L• ocal Union No. 364. This Ordinance would approve the monetary amounts of the ratified wage and benefit package, which was believed to be in the best interest of the City. Accordingly, the intent of this Ordinance is to fix the maximum salaries and wages for all City employees represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters of America, Local Union No. 364, for the calendar years 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: Section I. Scope of Coverage This Ordinance shall determine all issues of compensation for all employees for the City of South Bend, Indiana, represented by Teamsters Local Union No. 364 affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters of America, hereinafter referred to as the "Teamster Local Union No. 364", in the following operational units: Century Center Code Enforcement Department of Parks & Recreation Department of Public Works: 1. Equipment Services Division 2. Water Works Division 3. Environmental Services Division (i) Solid Waster (ii) Wastewater /Organic Resources 4. Streets Division (i) Streets (ii) Sewers (iii) Traffic and Lighting
