REGULAR <br />ZNG <br />REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMKISSION <br />To,the Common Council <br />City of South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />953 <br />Petition.of Place & Coo for annexation of an unplatted tract of 35 acres at the southeast portion of the City <br />has been considered by the City Plan Commission. <br />The annexation is approved* <br />Councilman Glass made a motion that the report be accepted. <br />carried. <br />REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br />To the Common Council <br />City of South Bend, Ind. <br />Gent lemenr <br />Respectfully, <br />D• Moomaw, Secy. <br />Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion <br />Petition for change of zoning of property on the west side of N. Michigan Ste from Bartlett St. to Park Lane <br />from B residence and C height and area.distriots to C commercial and D height and area district was given public <br />hearing before the City Plan Commission on February 5, 1953. <br />The Board of Park Commissioners have made a suggestion (see attached letter) that this change would be more <br />satisfactory if made to the C -1 district instead of C commercial. <br />Petitioners have verbally amended their petition to conform to the above suggestion and to leave the height and <br />area district as it is at present (C height and area)• At their meeting on Feb* 5, 1953s, the City Plan Commissi <br />acted to recommend that the change be made from B residence to 0-1 Commercial* <br />Yours truly, <br />D. Sabo for annexation of an unplatted tract of ground north of Angela Ave* and <br />west of U.S. Highway No* 31,, being the tract to be occupied by the Ste Joseph County Catholic High School, has <br />been considered by the City P,an.Commission* <br />This annexation-is approved* <br />Yours truly, <br />D. Motion <br />carried* <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3908 <br />ANNEXING LANDS TO AND DECLARING SAME TO <br />BE A PART OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />( Unplatted tract of 35 acres at the Southeast <br />portion of City) <br />The ordinnce was given first reading by title and second reading in full* Councilman Muszynski made a motion <br />for suspension of rules* Councilman Glass seconded the motion• Motion carried by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - <br />0 nays - 2 absent (Councilmen Bestle and Niezgodski)• <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 0 nays - 2 absent (Councilmen <br />Bestle and Nie zgodski) • <br />
