IN <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING JANUARY 26TH, 1953 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole <br />meeting in the Council Chamber, Monday,,January 26th, 1953, at 8:04 P.M., with all members present. Chairman <br />Hahn presided. <br />"An Ordinance transferring monies from Board of Public Works and Safety, H -58B, Building Contingencies, $23.6.48 <br />to Fire Department, Q -7129 Other Structures; from Street Department, S -13, Extra and Overtime, $216.00 to Street <br />Department, S -11, Salaries; from Street Department, S -12, Hourly Workers, Salary of Mechanic, $4,316.00 to Stree <br />Department, S -11, Regular Salary, all of the budget for the year 1953_ of the Civil City of South Bend, Indianan. <br />Councilman Korpal made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Glass seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Niezgodski made a motion to <br />adjourn, which motion was seconded by Councilman Bestle.
