<br />U COMMIT`T'EE OF THE WHOLE MEETING OCTOBER 27TH, 1952
<br />Be it remembered that the Common Oouncil of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole
<br />meeting in the Council Chamber,, Monday,, October 27th, 1952; at 8:00 P.M., with all members..present except
<br />Councilman Pinter, Chairman Hahn presided.
<br />ORDINANCE NO. 3895 (AS AMENDED)
<br />"An Ordinance designating West Ewing Avenue a boulevard from Franklin Street to Gertrude St., ".
<br />Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the ordinance designating West Ewing Lienue a boulevard from. Franklin Ste
<br />to Gertrude St, be.amended by striking out Gertxude:St ,and inserting Prairie.Ave. (Route 23)0 Councilman Glass
<br />'seconded the motion. Motion. carried. Moved by Councilman Muszynski and seconded by Councilman Glass the
<br />ordinance designating Ewing Ave. a boulevard be..approved as amended and go to the Council favorable.
<br />ORDINANCE NO. 3896
<br />An Ordinance transferring monies from P -11, Police Department, Services Personal, $5,200 to P -38, General
<br />Supplies, $200; P -724, Motor Equipment, $5,000, and from V -11, Electrical Department, Services Personal,
<br />$1,394.14 and from V -216, Traveling Expenses, $118.11 to V -724, Motor Equipment, $1,512.25, and from Q -11,
<br />Fire Department, Services Personal, $4,000 to Q -251, Repairs of Buildings and Structures, $4,000 and from
<br />T -261, Traffic Department, Other Contractual Services, x$300 to T -252, Repairs of Equipment, $300.00".
<br />Councilman Glass made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Korpal seconded
<br />the motion. Motion carried.
<br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Muszynski made a motion to
<br />adjourn, which motion was seconded by Councilman Korpal. Motion carried, and the Committee of the Whole
<br />meeting adjourned at 8 :05 P.Mo
