<br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council
<br />Chamber, Monday, July 14th, 1952, at 8:00 P.M., with all members present except Councilman Hahn. President Erler
<br />presided.
<br />REPORT OF COTMAITTEE ON MINUTES
<br />To the Common Council of the City of South. Bend:
<br />Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have
<br />inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. They therefore recommend
<br />that the same be approved.

<br />Councilman Glass made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Niezgodski seconded the motion.

<br />We the undersigned petition the South Bend City Council to change the zone from "A" Residential "All Height and
<br />Area to "B" Residential "B" Height and Area of lots 1, 21 3, 49 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 of Navarre Place Subdivision.,
<br />The undersigned dieing the owners of- -the above property. These lots are on the east side of Michigan St. and north
<br />of North Shore Drive.

<br />Councilman Korpal made a motion that the petition be referred to the City Plan Commission. Councilman Glass
<br />seconded the motion. Motion carried.

<br />The undersigned property owners respectfully submit our petition for the closing of the above described alley
<br />as a through alley immediately in order to avoid injury to children.
<br />The undersigned are the legal owners of all property bordering on said alley --

<br />TO THE HONORABLE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
<br />Comes now Andrew Medich who would respectfully show:
<br />That he is the owner in fee simple of Lots Numbered Two Hundred sixty six, Two hundred and sixty seven and Lot
<br />Numbered Two hundred and sixty eight in Shively's First Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana; that said
<br />Lots are now classified as Residential.
<br />Petitioner would show that it is his desire to build on said Lots aforesaid and prays the Council to change said
<br />classification from "B" Residential and "A" Height and Area to "D" Light Industrial and "E" Height and Area.

<br />Park Addition to South Bend by imposing the immediate stoppage of refuse and debris burning in Beck Lake Dump
<br />as a smoke, fire, health, and property hazard.

<br />Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the petition be referred to the Board of Public Works with the suggestion
<br />that some action be taken on the smoke ordinance. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Minion carried.
