THE WHOLE MEETING <br />APRIL 28TH, 1952 <br />790 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole <br />meeting in the Council Chamber, Monday, April 28th, 1952, at 7:48 P.M., with all members present except <br />Councilmen Pinter. Chairman Mahn presided. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3867 <br />"An Ordinance reducing certain items in the 1952 budget for the Fire Department of the (Civil City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, in the amount of $20,000.00 and for the Cemetery Department in the amount of $500.00 and appropriating <br />from the General Fund of said City to the 1952 budget for said departments in said amounts and declaring an <br />extraordinary emergency ". <br />Councilman Glass made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Erler seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3868 <br />"An Ordinance appropriating all Parking Meter Fees and Funds to the Board of Public Works and Safety of the <br />Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, for the uses and purposes set forth therein in accordance with Chapter 236 <br />of the Acts of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana of 1945, as amended by Chapter 303 of the Acts of <br />the General Assembly of 1951 ". <br />Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Bestle <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business, Councilman Korpal made a motion to adjourn, which motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Bestle.
