COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING <br />JANUARY 28TH, 1952 <br />770 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole <br />meeting in the Council Chamber, Monday, January 28th, 1952, at 8:02 P.M., with all members present. Chairman <br />Hahn presided. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3858 <br />"An Ordinance reducing certain items in the 1952 budget for the Police Department of the Civil City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, in the aggregate amount of $17,906.00 and appropriating from the General Fund of said City to the <br />1952 budget for the Police Department of said City in the aggregate amount of 117,898.00 and declaring an extra - <br />ordinance emergency ". <br />Councilman Erler made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Niezgodski seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3859 <br />"An Ordinance appropriating from the General Fund the sum of Sixteen Hundred Eighty ($1680.00) Dollars to certain <br />budgetary items of the 1952 budget of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, and declaring an extraordinary <br />emel-gency ". <br />Councilman Alford made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Glass seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Glass made a motion to adjourn, <br />which motion was seconded by Councilman Korpal. Motion carried, and the Committee of the Whole adjourned at <br />8:27 P:M. <br />ATTEST: APPROVED: <br />CLERK PRESIDENT <br />
