REGULAR MEETING JUNE 11TH, 1951 Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council Chamber, Monday, June 11th, 1951, at 8:22 P.M., with all members present except Councilman Erler. President Niezgodski presided. REPORT OF COMMITTEE ON MINUTES To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. They therefore recommend that the same be approved. Meeting of May 28th, 1951. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the report be accepted. Motion carried. PETITION To the City Planning Commission South Bend, Indiana CLEM NIEZGODSKI ) STANLEY C. KORPAL ) Committee A. P. KEMPER ) CHESTER MUSZYNSKI ) Councilman Tellson seconded the motion. The undersigned, St. Joseph Cemetery & Undertaking Association, hereby requests that the following described real estate located in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, to wit: Lot Numbered Sixty -four (64) Commissioner's Subdivision of Bank Out Lots Eighty -five (85) and Eighty -six (86) which real estate is situated immediately to the rear of the property now occupied by this petitioner at 1233 Western Avenue in the City of South Bend, Indiana, be changed from "B" residential, "A" height and area`to "C" commercial, "D" height and area. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion. Motion carried. DuComb, and PITTSBURGH PLATE GLASS COMPANY, a Pennsylvania corporation doing business in the State of Indiana, by its attorney, Joseph A. Roper, and say: 1. That Bob Rans Wholesale Co., Inc.- is the owner of the following described real estate situate in St. Joseph County, Indiana, said real estate being in and part of the City of South Bend, to -wit: Beginning at a point on the West line of South Franklin Street, 502 feet South of the intersection of the South line of DuBail Avenue, formerly Blanche Street, with the West line of South Franklin Street, thence West 153 feet to the East line of a 14 foot alley; thence North on the East line of said 14 foot alley 200 feet; thence East 153 feet to the West line of South Franklin Street; thence South on the West line of South Franklin Street 200 feet to the place of beginning.
