<br /> services to the territory to be annexed,which provides,among other things,that existing water mains
<br /> are sufficient to service this area;that the owner/developer will plan,pay for,and install a proper
<br /> storm water control system;that the owner/developer will also install at the developer's expense an
<br /> extension of the nearest public sanitary sewer network to and within the proposed subdivision;that
<br /> the owner/developer will construct new public streets to access the lots proposed for development;
<br /> and that the owner/developer will provide and pay for an appropriate street lighting system within
<br /> the subdivision. All of the capital improvements to be done and paid for by the owner/developer
<br /> shall be done in compliance with state and local law.

<br /> Upon a motion made by Mr.Inks,seconded by Mr.Littrell and carried,Resolution No. 16-2003 was
<br /> tabled.
<br /> APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT 5TH ANNUAL SOUTH
<br /> BEND/MICHIANA LUPUS WALK
<br /> Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting,Park
<br /> Department,Police Department and the City Attorney's office,in reference to a request as submitted
<br /> by Ms.Sara Irons,Michigan Lupus Foundation,2653 Red field Road,Niles,Michigan,to conduct
<br /> the above referred to walk on May 10,2003,from 10:00 a.m.to 2:00 p.m.,on the designated route
<br /> as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the
<br /> recommendation was approved.
<br /> APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION-TO CONDUCT MARCH OF DIMES WALKAMERICA
<br /> Mr.Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting,Park
<br /> Department,Police Department and the City Attorney's office,in reference to a request as submitted
<br /> by Ms.Carol Hummer,March of Dimes,2012 Ironwood,South Bend,Indiana,to conduct the above
<br /> referred to walk on April 26, 2003, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., on the designated route as
<br /> submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr, Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the
<br /> recommendation was approved.
<br /> APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT ANNUAL AIDS "TEDDY BEAR"
<br /> WALK
<br /> Mr.Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting,Park
<br /> Department,Police Department and the City Attorney's office,in reference to a request as submitted
<br /> by Mr.Michael Beatty,Life Challenges Foundation,Post Office Box 4432,South Bend,Indiana,to
<br /> conduct the above referred to walk on April 27,2003,from 1:00 p.m.to 3:30 p.m.,on the designated
<br /> route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the
<br /> recommendation was approved.
<br /> APPROVAL OF TRIPLE TRAILER COMBINATION PERMIT-YELLOW TRANSPORTATION
<br /> INC.
<br /> Mr.Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Triple Trailer Combination Permit between the City
<br /> of South Bend and Yellow Transportation Inc., 1818 High School Road,Indianapolis,Indiana,for
<br /> ingress and egress for the triple trailers from and to the Toll Road. Therefore,upon a motion made
<br /> by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Triple Trailer Combination Permit was
<br /> approved and executed.
