Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole meeting in the Council Chamber, Monday, March 26th, 1951, at 8:07 P.M., with all members present. Chairman Korpal presided. ORDINANCE NO. 3805 "An Ordinance fixing the salaries of certain City Officials and Employees of the City of South Bend, Indiana, effective January 1, 1952, and repealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict therewith ". Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Bestle seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE NO. 3806 "An Ordinance ordering and providing for the sale of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, to -wit: Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot Numbered G2 in Wenger and Kreighbaums Vistula Avenue Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana, thence Northerly parallel with the East line of Lincoln Way East 136.7 feet; thence East 30 feet; thence North 50 feet; thence East to the St. Joseph River; thence Southwesterly to a point directly East of the place of beginning; thence West to the place of beginning, subject to the right of the City of South Bend to construct an inter- ceptor sewer across said land at the approximate location and depth as shown on the plans for the interceptor sewer in the Engineer's Office of said city. Councilman Erler made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried. There being no further business, Councilman Tellson made a motion to adjourn, which motion was seconded by Councilman Kemper. Motion carried, and the Committee of the Whole meeting adjourned at 8:15 P.M. ATTEST: 704 ..
