<br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in special session in the Council
<br />Chamber on Tuesday, February 13th, 1951, at 8:08 P.M. with all members present except Councilman Bestle.

<br />To the President, and Members of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
<br />Gentlemen:
<br />You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by law as Mayor of the City of
<br />South Bend, in the State of Indiana, a Special Meeting of the Common Council of said City is hereby called to
<br />meet in the Council Chamber, in the City Hall at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., Central Standard Time, on Tuesday,
<br />February 13th, 1951, for the purpose of considering and taking action upon the following ordinances, petitions
<br />and reports, to -wit:
<br />"An Ordinance appropriating from the General Fund of the Civil
<br />City of South Bend, Indiana, the sum of Four Thousand Five Hundred
<br />($4,500.00) Dollars, to the Office of the Board, and declaring an
<br />extraordinary emergency ",
<br />ALSO
<br />"An Ordinance approving contracts made and entered into on behalf
<br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana, by and through the Board of Public
<br />Works and Safety, and Maxim Motor Company, $17,997.73; Englewood Electric
<br />Company, $9,579.60; Reid - Holcomb Co., Inc., $9,800.00; Ben Medow, Inc.,
<br />$13,085.08; and Fabric Fire Hose Company, $4,648.00 ",

<br />The Chief of Police or any member of the Police Force is hereby directed to forthwith serve a copy of this notice
<br />on each and every member of the Common Council and make due return of such service of said Special Meeting.
