Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Special Session in the
<br />Council Chamber, on Monday, November 13th, 1950, at 7:30 P.M., with all members present.

<br />Gentlemen:
<br />You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by law as Mayor of the City of
<br />South Bend, in the State of Indiana, a Special Meeting of the Common Council of said City is hereby called to
<br />meet in the Council Chamber, in the City Hall, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M., Central Standard Time, on
<br />Monday, November 13, 1950, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the following ordinance:
<br />AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING AN AGREEMENT
<br />MADE AND ENTERED INTO ON OCTOBER 16, 1950, BY AND
<br />BETWEEN THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF ST. JOSEPH
<br />COUNTY, INDIANA, AND THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,
<br />BY AND THROUGH ITS BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY,
<br />CONCERNING THE TRANSFER OF TITLE TO THE CITY OF SOUTH
<br />BEND, INDIANA, TO CERTAIN REAL ESTATE THEREIN DESCRIBED.
<br />The Chief of Police or any member of the Police Force is hereby directed to forthwith serve a copy of this notice
<br />on each and every member of the Common Council and make due return of such service of said Special Meeting.

<br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Glass made a motion for
<br />suspension of rules. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays.
<br />The ordinance was given third reading and passeo6y a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays.

<br />THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this 16th day of October, 1950, by and between the BOARD OF
<br />COMMISSIONERS QV0XMMKZ33ZMM= OF ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA, hereinafter referred to as "Commissioners ", and the
<br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, acting by and through its Board of Public Works and Safety, hereinafter called
<br />"Board ", WITNESSETH:
<br />For One Dollar ($1.00) and other valuable consideration the Commissioners agree to sell to the Board
<br />the following described real estate situate in St. Joseph County, Indiana:
<br />Beginning on the East and West center line of Section 27, Township No. 38
<br />North, Range 3 East, a distance of one thousand four hundred thirty and six
<br />tenths (1,430.6) feet East of the West Quarter ('A) corner of said section,
