Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole <br />meeting in the Council Chamber, Monday, august 28th, 1950, at 8:10 P.M. with all members present. "airman <br />Korpal presided. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3775 (AS AMENDED) <br />"An Ordinance appropriating moneys for the purpose of defraying the expenses of all budget - operated departments <br />of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1951, and ending December 31, <br />1951,, including departments -, funds and commissions for which money is appropriated, in whole or in part, from <br />funds other than the general funds of said City, to -wit: Street, Traffic and Park Department, Firemen's Pension <br />and Policemen's Pension Funds, and the City Plan Commission: providing that such appropriations shall include <br />all outstanding claims and obligations: fixing the salaries of all city officials and employees: repealing <br />all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith: providing a time when the same shall take effect ". <br />The ordinance was read item by item and amendments were made to an item in the Police Department and several <br />items in the Park Department, and at the conclusion the Committee of the Whole reported it favorably to the <br />Council as amended. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3776 (AS AMENDED) <br />'An Ordinance fixing the Tax Levy for the year 1951 for the Municipal Civil City of South Bend, Indiana". <br />Councilman Erler made a motion that the proposed amendments relative to Tax Levy be accepted. Councilman <br />Muszyns-U seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business, Councilman Erler made a motion to adjourn, which motion was seconded by <br />Councilman'Tellson.
