ORDINANCE NO. ( 007 —( 3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR CERTAIN DEPARTMENTAL AND CITY SERVICES OPERATIONS IN 2013 OF $124,256 FROM GENERAL FUND ( #101), $35,000 FROM PARKS & RECREATION FUND ( #201), $110,000 FROM MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND ( #202), $10,752 FROM GIFT, DONATION, BEQUEST FUND (9217),$1,474,714 FROM EMS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND (#288),$500 FROM HAZMAT FUND ( #289), $40,460 FROM INDIANA RIVER RESCUE FUND (#291),$184,502 FROM COUNTY OPTION INCOME TAX FUND ( #404), AND $60,000 FROM ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INCOME TAX FUND (#408). STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT The Common Council passed the City's 2013 operating and capital budgets in 2012 (Ordinance #10197 -12, passed October 29, 2012) which included expenditures for various City operations. It is now necessary to appropriate additional funds for operational and capital expenditures necessary for the City to effect provision of services to its citizens which were not anticipated at the time the City budget was adopted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: Section I.
