REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 22, 2004 <br /> AWARD QUOTATION - WINDOW TREATMENTS - SOUTH BEND FIRE AND POLICE <br /> DEPARTMENT NEW HEADQUARTERS <br /> Mr. Carl P. Littrell, City Engineer, advised the Board that DLZ Indiana received quotations for the <br /> above referred to items. DLZ Indiana recommends that the Board award the contract to Classic <br /> Window Treatments, South Bend,Indiana in the amount of$20,701.00. Therefore,Mr.Littrell made <br /> a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Inks <br /> seconded the motion which carried. <br /> OPENING OF BIDS -- SEVENTY-EIGHT (78) MORE OR LESS AIR MASK UNITS/MSA FIRE <br /> HAWK- FIRE DEPARTMENT(2004 FIRE GRANT AWARD AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL <br /> SERVICES CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND #288) <br /> This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to equipment. <br /> The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County <br /> News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read: <br /> 5 ALARM FIRE AND SAFETY, INC. <br /> 704 Oak Street <br /> Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin 53538 <br /> Bid was signed by Mr. Paul Kotz <br /> Non-Collusion Affidavit was in order <br /> Non-Discrimination Commitment form was completed <br /> Ten per cent (10%) Bid Security was submitted <br /> BID: $330,854.00 <br /> Upon a motion made by Mr.Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried,the above bids were referred <br /> to the Fire Department for review and recommendation. <br /> OPENING OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES <br /> This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to vehicles.
