X357 <br /> REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 8,2004 <br /> TABLE ENCROACHMENT-INSTALLATION OF AWNING-2810 MISHAWAKA AVENUE- <br /> PAMPERED PAWS <br /> Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Encroachment for the <br /> installation of an awning at Pampered Paws, 2810 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, was <br /> tabled pending further information. <br /> APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION-TO CONDUCT WINTER WALK-ST.MARGARET'S <br /> HOUSE <br /> Mr.Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering, <br /> Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. <br /> Kathryn Schneider, St.Margaret's House, 117 North Lafayette, South Bend,Indiana,to conduct the <br /> above referred to walk on February 13, 2005, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the designated route <br /> as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the <br /> recommendation was approved. <br /> APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br /> Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried,the following traffic control <br /> devices were approved/tabled: <br /> Relocate - Handicapped Accessible 109 South Lake Move signs from 129 South <br /> Parking Space Signs Illinois to current address. <br /> New Installation - Handicapped 814 East LaSalle Resident says school has no <br /> Accessible Parking Space Signs parking lot. Criteria has been <br /> met. <br /> New Installation - Handicapped 212 East Calvert Tabled. <br /> Accessible Parking Space Signs <br /> APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO REMONSTRATE <br /> WATER ONLY <br /> Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of Right to <br /> Remonstrate as submitted by Ms.Jackie A.Wilson,52872 Francis Street,South Bend,Indiana. The <br /> Consent indicates that in consideration for permission to tap into the public water system of the City, <br /> to provide water service to 22105 Brick Road, South Bend,Indiana, South Bend,Indiana,(Key 9 04- <br /> 1025-0446). Ms. Wilson waives and releases any and all right to remonstrate against or oppose any <br /> pending or future annexation of the property by the City of South Bend. Therefore,Mr. Gilot made <br /> a motion that the Consent be approved. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried. <br /> APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO REMONSTRATE <br /> WATER AND SEWER <br /> Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of Right to <br /> Remonstrate as submitted by Fairway LLC,Andrew Place, 1620 North Ironwood Drive,South Bend, <br /> Indiana. The Consent indicates that in consideration for permission to tap into the public water and <br /> sewer system of the City, to provide water and sewer service to Inverness Woods Subdivision. <br /> Fairway LLC waives and releases any and all right to remonstrate against or oppose any pending or <br /> future annexation of the property by the City of South Bend, Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion <br /> that the Consent be approved. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried. <br /> FILING OF SAFETY REPORTS - DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> The Division of Environmental Services,Street Department,Division of Engineering,Water Works <br /> and Equipment Services submitted Safety Reports for October 2004. These reports will reflect <br /> injuries/accidents for each month and provide for a comparison. There being no further discussion, <br /> upon a motion made by Mr.Littrell,seconded by Mr.Inks and carried,the reports were accepted and <br /> filed. <br />
