�4 REGULAR MEETING JULY 26 2004 and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF CHANGE OF TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS - JACKSON ROAD FROM IRONWOOD TO YORK - 4-H FAIR Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting,Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Frank Ronchetti, 5117 South Ironwood Drive, South Bend, Indiana, to change the traffic restrictions on Jackson Road from Ironwood to York on August 2 to 7, 2004, from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the 4-H Fair. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell Mr. and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT MOTORCYCLE PROCESSION - SOUTH BEND FIRE FIGHTERS LOCAL 362 Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting,Park Department,Police Department and the City Attorney's office,in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Nick Kowalski, South Bend Fire Fighters Local 362, 1122 South Main Street, South Bend, Indiana,to conduct the above referred to walk on July 30, 2004, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT MOTORCYCLE PROCESSION - SOUTH BEND FIRE FIGHTERS LOCAL 362 Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting, Park Department,Police Department and the City Attorney's office,in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Nick Kowalski, South Bend Fire Fighters Local 362, 1122 South Main Street, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to walk on July 31, 2004, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT MARCHING BAND PARADES - PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY SDA CHURCH Mr. Gilot stated that this request was withdrawn by the petitioner. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT "ASTHMA WALK" - AMERICAN LUNG ASSOCIATION Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting, Park Department,Police Department and the City Attorney's office,in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. John Smith, 9445 Delegates Row, Indianapolis, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to walk on September 18, 2004, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT "2004 A B A T E MOTORCYCLE RUN" - FREEDOM CYCLE Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting, Park Department,Police Department and the City Attorney's office,in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Chris Moore, 6210 U.S. 31 South, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to motorcycle run on September 5,2004,from 11:00 a.m.,on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr.Gilot,seconded by Mr.Littrell and carried,the recommendation was approved subject to detours being set for downtown cross-traffic. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION-TO CLOSE STREET-SIBLEY FROM COLLEGE TO BROOKFIELD - BLOCK PARTY Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Traffic and Lighting, Police Department and the City Attorney's off-ice, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms. Roberta Young, 1710 South Sibley, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block party on August 8, 2004, from 11:00 am. to 10:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved.
