<br /> Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the above bids were referred
<br /> to Code Enforcement for review and recommendation.
<br /> AWARD ADDITIONAL UNIT - ONE (1) PRE-OWNED MID-SIZE AUTOMOBILE - WATER
<br /> WORKS (WATER WORKS FUND
<br /> Mr. Lou Grounds, Central Services, advised the Board that on April 26,2004,this bid was awarded
<br /> to the lowest, responsible and responsive bidder, Pine Chevrolet, 1522 East Lincolnway, LaPorte,
<br /> Indiana. Mr. Grounds requested permission to award an additional unit, in the amount of
<br /> $18,400.00, which is the same original bid award amount. Therefore, Mr. Littrell made a motion
<br /> that the recommendation be accepted and the additional unit be awarded as outlined above. Mr.Inks
<br /> seconded the motion which carried.
<br /> AWARD BID - TWO 2 PRE-OWNED COMPACT AUTOMOBILES - BUILDING
<br /> DEPARTMENT ( CONSOLIDATED BUILDING DEPARTMENT FUND)
<br /> Mr. Lou Grounds, Central Services, advised the Board that on April 26, 2004, bids were received
<br /> and opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those bids,Mr. Grounds recommends
<br /> that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, Pine Chevrolet,
<br /> 1522 East Lincolnway, LaPorte, Indiana in the amount of$10,800.00. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made
<br /> a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Inks
<br /> seconded the motion which carried.
<br /> AWARD ADDITIONAL UNIT - ONE 1 NEW 314 TON TWO WHEEL DRIVE PICK-UP

<br /> Mr. Grounds requested permission to award an additional one(1)unit, in the amount of$16,525.95,
<br /> which is the same original bid award amount. Therefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that the
<br /> recommendation be accepted and the additional unit be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Littrell
<br /> seconded the motion which carried.

<br /> Mr. John Wiltrout,Water Works,advised the Board that on May 24,2004,quotations were received
<br /> and opened for the above referred to product. After reviewing those quotations, Mr. Wiltrout
<br /> recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder,
<br /> Alexander Chemical, 2525 Cabot Avenue, Lisle, Illinois, in the amount of $381.00/Ton and
<br /> $46.00/150 Lb. Therefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that
<br /> the recommendation be accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Littrell
<br /> seconded the motion which carried.
<br /> AA4'ARD QUOTATION - FLOURISILIC ACID - WATER WORKS WATER WORKS
<br /> Mr. John Wiltrout,Water Works,advised the Board that on May 24,2004,quotations were received
<br /> and opened for the above referred to product. After reviewing those quotation, Mr. Wiltrout
<br /> recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder,LCI,
<br /> 415 Pablo Avenue,Jacksonville Beach,Florida,in the amount of$179.00/Ton. Therefore,Mr.Inks
<br /> made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined
