Mr. Littrell seconded the motion which carried. <br /> AWARD BID - ONE 1 33 CUBIC YARD SIDE LOADING REFUSE TRUCK - <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES (SOLID WASTE CAPITAL) <br /> Mr. Jack Dillon, Director, Environmental Services, advised the Board that on April 26, 2004, bids <br /> were received and opened for the above referred to equipment. After reviewing those bids, Mr. <br /> Dillon recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive <br /> bidder, Best Equipment Company Inc., 2804 Catherwood Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana, in the <br /> amount of$195,810.00. The original cost of this unit was $205,810.00 with a trade-in of Unit 584. <br /> Therefore, Mr. Littrell made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded <br /> as outlined above. Mr. Gilot seconded the motion which carried. <br />
