0L3 REGULAR MEETING MAY 24, 2004 APPROVE AGREEMENT - ADMINISTRATIVE FUNDING ASSISTANCE - NEAR NORTHWEST NEIGHBORHOOD INC. GENERAL FUND Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Grant Agreement between the City of South Bend and the Near Northwest Neighborhood, Inc., Post Office Box 1132 South Bend, Indiana, for administrative funding assistance. Mr. Gilot noted that the agreement is in the amount of $30,000.00. Therefore,upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried,the Agreement was approved and executed. APPROVE GRANT AGREEMENT - PROJECT ENTITLED "TEEN" - GREATER FRIENDSHIP YOUTH GROUP (GENERAL FUND Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Grant Agreement between the City of South Bend and Greater Friendship Youth Group, 206 South Falcon, South Bend, Indiana, for a project called "TEEN". Mr. Gilot noted that the Agreement will increase the participation of youth activities and encourage and develop youth leadership for neighborhoods and community at large, and will foster communication and working relationships between and among neighborhood youth and adults. Mr. Gilot noted that this Agreement is in the amount of$1,700.00. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the Agreement was approved and executed. APPROVE GRANT AGREEMENT-PROJECT ENTITLED -"RESILIENCE YOUTH GROUP" THE CENTER FOR THE HOMELESS(GENERAL FUND) Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Grant Agreement between the City of South Bend and The Center for the Homeless, 813 South Michigan, South Bend, Indiana, for a project called "Resilience Youth Group", Mr. Gilot noted that the Agreement will increase the participation of youth activities and encourage and develop youth leadership for neighborhoods and community at large, and\vill foster communication and working relationships between and among neighborhood youth and adults. Mr. Gilot noted that this Agreement is in the amount of$2,000.00. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot,seconded by Mr.Littrell and carried,the Agreement was approved and executed. APPROVE AGREEMENTS - BUILDING BLOCK GRANT 114 GRANTS COIT Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of 114 Agreements between the City of South Bend and the residents at the following addresses,for the Building Block Grant program. Mr. Gilot noted that the 114 Agreements were submitted at$125.00 each,with a total amount of$14,250.00.
