<br /> APPROVAL OF PROPOSAL - BOLAND DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS - PORTAGE TO
<br /> RIBOURDE DRIVE - THE TROYER GROUP
<br /> Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Proposal between the City of South. Bend and The
<br /> Troyer Group, 550 Union, Mishawaka, Indiana, for the above referred to project. Mr. Gilot noted
<br /> that the Proposal is in the amount of$16,971.00. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell,
<br /> seconded by Mr. Inks, and carried, the Proposal was approved and executed.
<br /> APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT RIVER PARK PARADE
<br /> Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting, Park
<br /> Department,Police Department and the City Attorney's office,in reference to a request as submitted
<br /> by Ms. Susan Miller, Post Office Box 6695, South Bend, Indiana,to conduct the above referred to
<br /> parade on June 12,2004,from 10:00 a.m.to 10:30 a.m.,on the designated route as submitted. Upon
<br /> a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried,the recommendation was approved.
<br /> APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT CINCO DE MAYO PARADE
<br /> Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting, Park
<br /> Department,Police Department and the City Attorney's office,in reference to a request as submitted
<br /> by Ms. Jesusa Rodriguez,Post Office Box 8042, South Bend,Indiana,to conduct the above referred
<br /> to parade on May 1, 2004, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., on the designated route as submitted.
<br /> Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was
<br /> approved.
<br /> APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CHANGE TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS - 2004
<br /> CABIN DAYS
<br /> Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting,Police
<br /> Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Travis
<br /> Childs,Center for History,808 West Washington,South Bend,Indiana,to change traffic restrictions
<br /> to"no parking"on Bartlett Street on May 11, 12, 13 and 14,2004,from 7:00 a.m.to 2:30 p.m. Upon
<br /> a motion made by Mr. Gilot,seconded by Mr. Inks and carried,the recommendation was approved.
<br /> APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION-TO CONDUCT NATIONAL MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
<br /> WALK.
<br /> Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting, Park
<br /> Department,Police Department and the City Attorney's office,in reference to a request as submitted
<br /> by Ms. Marcy Dean, 68397 Third Street, Edwardsburg, Michigan,to conduct the above referred to
<br /> walk on May 8, 2004, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., on the designated route as submitted. Upon
<br /> a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried,the recommendation was approved.
<br /> APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT WEST SIDE MEMORIAL DAY
<br /> PARADE
<br /> Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting, Park
<br /> Department,Police Department and the City Attorney's office,in reference to a request as submitted
<br /> by Ms. Adeline Jaskowiak, 727 South Illinois, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred
<br /> to parade, on May 31, 2004, from 7:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., on the designated route as submitted.
<br /> Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was
<br /> approved.
<br /> APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT HOLY CROSS/ST STANISLAUS
<br /> CHURCH PROCESSION AND CROWNING
<br /> Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting, Park
<br /> Department,Police Department and the City Attorney's office,in reference to a request as submitted
<br /> by Reverend M.C. Mathews, Holy Cross Parish, 920 Wilber, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the
<br /> above referred to procession,on May 21,2004,from 9:00 a.m.to 10:30 a.m.,on the designated route
<br /> as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the
<br /> recommendation was approved.
