<br /> Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the above Quotations were
<br /> referred to Water Works for review and recommendation. After reviewing those quotations;Mr. Ed
<br /> Herman, Water Works,recommends that the Board award the contract to HRP Construction in the
<br /> amount of$72,997.00. Therefore,Mr.Inks made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and
<br /> the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Gilot seconded the motion which carried.
<br /> AWARD BIDS -2004 PUBLIC WORKS PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM -PROJECT NO. 104-001
<br /> Mr. Carl P. Littrell, City Engineer,advised the Board that on March 8,2004,bids were received and
<br /> opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Littrell recommends that
<br /> the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidders, as follows:
<br /> Zone I Kaser Spraker Construction, Inc. $224,375.00
<br /> Zone 2 Selge Construction $243,125.00
<br /> Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bids be awarded
<br /> as outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried.
<br /> AWARD BID-LOMBARDY DRIVE EXTENSION-R&R EXCAVATING-PROJECT NO. 103-

<br /> Mr. Carl P. Littrell, City Engineer,advised the Board that on March 8,2004,bids were received and
<br /> opened for the above referred to project. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Littrell recommends that
<br /> the Board award the contract to R&R Excavating, 2010 Went Avenue, Mishawaka, Indiana in the
<br /> amount of$337,161.75. Therefore,Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted
<br /> and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried.
<br /> AWARD QUOTATION - WATER WORKS MOBILE GENERATOR (BOND)
<br /> Mr. Ed Herman, Water Works, advised the Board that on March 8, 2004, quotations were received
<br /> and opened for the above referred to items. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Herman recommends
<br /> that the Board award the contract to Novatek Corporation,3939 Mobile Avenue,Ft. Wayne,Indiana
<br /> in the amount of $33,450.00. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be
<br /> accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which
<br /> carried.
