f;4f <br />OF THE WHOLE <br />JULY 2 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole <br />meeting in the Council Chamber, Monday, July 24th, 1950, at 8:18 P.M. with all members present except Councilman <br />Korpal and Kemper. <br />Councilman Tellson nominated Councilman Niezgodaki to act as Chairman of the Committee of the Whole in the <br />absence of Chairman Korpalo- Councilman Muszynski made a motion that nominations be closed and Councilman <br />Niesgodski was elected by acclamation. <br />ORDINUCE NO. 3768 <br />"An Ordinance reducing certain items in the 1590 South Bend, Indiana, Municipal Civil, City Budget, in sundry <br />offices and departments thereof; and appropriating from the General Fund of said City the sum of Ten Thousand <br />Six Hundred and Fifty -five cents and appropriating from -the General Fund of <br />the Street and Traffic Fund of said-City,, the sum of -Six Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($6,100.00), all to <br />certain other budgetary -items of the 1950 budget of the Municipal Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, and <br />declaring an extraordinary emergency*. <br />Counoilman Glass made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilmen Beetle seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried* <br />OBDIUNCE NO. 3769 <br />"An Ordinance providing for the appointment of three additional inspeotors, an additional assistant superintendent <br />and of a clork, in the several departments of the Municipal Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, fixing the salaries <br />thereof, and appropriating from the General Fund of the City f South Bend, Indiana, the sum of Six Thousand <br />Light Hundred Fifty -two Dollars and Ninety Cents ($6,852.80) to divers accounts of the 1950 budget, and declaring <br />an extraordinary emergency . <br />Vounoi3man Muszynski made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Glass seconded <br />the motion.
