ORDINANCE N0. 3745 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND. (Lots No. 12 to 15 Inc. -- North side of if. Ewing Ave. from Chapin St, to the alley west of Kemble Ave.) 633: The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Niezgodski made a motion for suspension of rules. Councilman Tellson seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - l absent (Kemper). The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 1 absent (Kemper). REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION To the Common Council City of South Bend, Ind. Gent l amens- May 6, 1950 Petition for change of name of portion of Bissell St. between Northwood Drive and Corby St. to Churchill Drive was considered by the City Plan Commission at their regular meeting May 4, 1950. This change is approved. Yours truly, D. Moomaw, Seely. Counoilman Mus zynski made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Niezgodski seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE NO. 3746 AN ORDINANCE TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THAT PART OF BISSELL STREET FROM NORTHWOOD DRIVE TO CORBY STREET TO CHURCHILL DRIVE. The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Korpal made a motion for suspension of rules. Councilman Tellson seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - l absent (Kemper). The ordinance was given third reading and passed '6y a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 1 absent (Kemper). REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION To the Common Council City of South Bend, Indiana Gentlemew May 6, 1950 Petition of The Royal Rubber Company for change of zoning of unplatted land on the south side of Chippewa Ave. was given public hearing by the City Plan Commission at the regular meeting on May 4, 1950. This change is recommended as petitioned for. The accompanying plat shows the area for which the change is asked. Yours truly, " D. Moomaw, Seely. REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION To the Common Council City of South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: May 6, 1950 Petition of Joseph J. and Valeria Kopinski for change of zoning of Lots No. 148 and 149 in Swygart.'s 2nd Addition has gone through public hearing before the City Plan Commission. Action on this petition has been delayed for several weeks for the purpose of ascertaining if the change requested would meet the needs of the petitioners It is now found that if the change to "C" Commercial and "E" Height and Area District is made on Lot No. 149 alone the existing problem will be solved. The City Plan Commission ree amaends that this change be made,on Lot # 149 alone. This lot is at the southeast corner of fassnaeht and Yours truly, Birdsell St, D. Moomaw, Seely, Councilman Korpal made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Niezgodski seconded the motion. Motion carried.
