631 <br />COMMITTEE OF THE 'WHOLE MEETING <br />MAY 8TH, 1950 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the <br />'Whole meeting in the Council Chamber, Monday, May 8th, 1950, at 8:10 P.M. with all members present except <br />Councilman Kemper. Chairman Korpal presided. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 3751 <br />An Ordinance prohibiting the sale, lending, giving away, or possession of obscene, lewd, indecent or lascivious <br />phonograph records, sound transcriptions, wire recordings or similar device or articles, and providing <br />penalties for violation thereof. <br />Councilman Erler made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilmen Tellson seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business, Councilman Tellson made a motion to adjourn, which motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Niezgodski.
