APRIL 24TH, 1950 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole <br />meeting in the Council Chamber, Monday, April 24th, 1950, at 8:06 P.M. with all members present. Chairman <br />Korpal presided. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3741 <br />An Ordinance of the City of South Bend; Indiana, appropriating the sum of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) <br />to be applied on the cost of construction and improvement of sewers, and expenses incurred in connection there- <br />with. <br />Councilman Tellson made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Muszynski <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 3743 <br />An Ordinance providing for the establishment of a bureau of fire prevention, providing officers therefor and <br />defining their powers and duties, prescribing regulations.for fire prevention and life safety, and prescribing <br />penalties for the violation of its provis ions . <br />Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the ordinance go to the Council as.`favorable. Councilman Erler made <br />an amendment to the motion that the ordinance go to the Council favorable as amended. Councilman Muszynski <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business, Councilman Tellson made a motion to adjourn, which motion was seconded by <br />Councilman,Mus`zynski.
