President Erler presided. REPORT OF C(ITTEE ON MINUTES To the Common Council of the 'City of South Bends January 23, 1950 Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. They therefore recommend that the same be approved. Meeting of January 9th, 1950. WALTER C. PETITION To the Honorable Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana January 13, 1950 Gentlemen: We, the undersigned property owners, petition your honorable body to re -route heavy commercial trucks from traveling on Indiana Ave. from Walnut 8treat to Olive Street. (35 Signers) Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the. petition be referred to the Board of Public Works for investigation with a report to the Council at their next regular meeting on February 27th. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried. PETITION I, the undersigned, petition the City Plan Commission of South Bend to rezone Lots #45 and +46 in Krou and Whitmore's Subdivision in twenty -nine hundred (2900) block South Michigan Street to rezone said lots from residential to commercial. (Signed) Bessie So Krou Councilman- Korpal made a motion that the petition be referred to the City Plan Commission. Councilman Niezgodski seconded the motion. Motion carried. PETITION To: The Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana Petition to Amend Zoning Ordinance No. 3702 The undersigned respectfully asks and requests that your Honorable Body, amend Zoning Ordinance No. 3702 by changing the zoning classification of Lot No. 658 as shown on the recorded Third, Plat of Summit Place Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana, be, and the same hereby-is changed from B Residence and A Height and Area Districts to -C Commercial and D Height and Area Districts. (Signed) Mrs. Katherine Kuberski Councilman Korpal made a motion that the petition be referred to the City Plan Commission. Councilman Kemper seconded the motion. Motion carried.
