PETITION FOR THE VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION <br />INTO and THE ZONING OF THE ANNEXED LAND <br />IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />We the undersigned, make application to the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the voluntary <br />annexation of land to the City of South Bend, Indiana, and for the zoning of that land in Clay Township, St. Joseph <br />County, Indiana, and in support of which Petition alleges and affirms as follows: <br />1) We are the owners, hereinafter petitioners, of a parcel of land more particularly described in <br />Exhibit "A". <br />2) Petitioners desire that the parcel be annexed to the City of South Bend, Indiana, and be granted a <br />zoning designation as herein requested, both by proper ordinance. <br />3) That this Petition is signed by at least (CHECK ONE): <br />X a. one-hundred percent (100%) of the owners of the land in the territory sought to be <br />annexed; OR <br />_ b. fifty-one percent (51 %) of the owners of the ]and in the territory sought to be annexed; <br />OR <br />_ c. the owners of seventy-five percent (75%) of the total assessed value of the land for <br />properly tax purposes. <br />4) <br />5) <br />6) <br />7) <br />8) <br />The property sought to be annexed and rezoned is located at: <br />17253 & 17295 Douglas Road, South Bend, IN 46635 & Part of the Douglas Road Right-of--Way <br />The Property Tax Key Numbers are: 02-2019-0411.05, 02-2019-041 l .06, 02-2019-0411.07 & <br />Douglas Road Right-of-Way <br />The name and address of the property owners of the petition site are: <br />Walter L. & Sophie A.
