ORD <br />AN ORDINANCE REDUCING CERTAIN ITEMS IA THE 1949 BOUTH:BEND, <br />INDIANA, MUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY BUDGET IN SEVERAL DEPARTMENTS <br />AND OFFICES THEREOF, AND APPROPRIATING SPECIFIC SUMS FROM <br />THE GENERAL FUND, AND FROM THE GENERAL STREET AND TRAFFIC <br />FUND, OF SAID CITY, TO CERTAIN OTHER BUDGETARY ITEMS OF THE <br />1949 MUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY BUDGET OF SOUTH BEND, AND DECLARING <br />AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY. <br />581 <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Mussynski made a <br />motion that the ordinance be referred to the Committee of the Whole for Public Hearing on October 10th, 1949. <br />Councilman Tellson seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 8719 <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN INItELLING <br />UNITS OItNED BY THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilmen Horpal made a motion <br />for suspension of rules. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of <br />8 ayes - O nays . <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays. <br />MOTION <br />Councilman Tellson made a motion that when an ordinance is filed with the Clerk, sufficient copies must <br />accompany the original for members of the Council, City Attorney, and the two newspaper reporters. <br />Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business, Councilman Niezgodski. made a motion to adjourn, which motion was seconded <br />by Councilman Tellson. Motion carried, and Council adjourned at 9:20 P.M. <br />ATTEST: <br />
