"a <br />f.' <br />�r <br />Community /Campus Advisory Coalition (CCAC) <br />, <br />g � . <br />The January 29, 2013 meeting of the Community /Campus Advisory Coalition was held <br />at the South Bend Common Council Chambers, 227 West Jefferson, Suite 400, South <br />Bend, Indiana. The meeting was called to order at 3:37 p.m. by South Bend Common <br />Council Member at Large Gavin Ferlic. <br />Mr. Ferlic asked that everyone introduce themselves and to please sign in. Attendees <br />included: Former Council Member Ann Puzzello, Attorney for the South Bend Common <br />Council Kathy Cekanski - Farrand, University of Notre Dame Representatives Tim Sexton <br />and Student Government President Brett Rocheleau, Campus Housing Representative <br />Jeff Shoup, Alcohol and Beverage Board Representative Mike Carrington, Robinson <br />Center Adult Program Coordinator Marguerite Taylor, Americorps- Robinson Learning <br />Center Representative Luella Webster, Mark Kramer of Kramer Properties, Kahli <br />Anthony of Holladay Properties, Representative of IUSB Jeff Jones, South Bend Police <br />Captain Robert Hammer, Neighborhood Resident Matt Costello, City of South Bend <br />Employees, Assistant City Attorney Ann -Carol Nash, City Code Enforcement Director <br />Cathy Toppel, Paralegal Mary Arndt and South Bend Tribune Reporter Margaret <br />Fosmoe. <br />Gavin Ferlic announced the Election of Officers for the 2013 Calendar Year as <br />Presiding Officer — Gavin Ferlic and Recording Secretary — Legal Department. Council <br />Member Ferlic then requested that everyone give an update since the last meeting. <br />Captain Robert Hammer stated that with the new administration in the Police <br />Department staff will be identified and though many issues have been resolved over the <br />last few years - the ones still around will continue to be worked on. <br />NOTRE DAME <br />Tim Sexton stated that there has been good crime prevention at Notre Dame and in late <br />February/mid -March there will be an Art Prints Studio put in at the Notre Dame Center <br />of Arts and Culture on Washington. The dedication /blessing will be on March 26 with a <br />Community Open House on March 27. <br />Jeff Shoup, for Notre Dame Office of Housing, stated he wants to give graduate <br />students more opportunities to live off - campus. The office fell away 10 -12 years ago <br />
