JOSEPH ).SS: <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND ) <br />TO THE PRESIDENT, AND MEMBERS OF THE COMMON <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETIVG <br />William J. Richardson, a duly elected and qualified Councilman-at-Large of the City of South Bend, Indiana, has <br />departed this life on.the 21st day of March, 1948. Councilman Kemper <br />seconded the motion. The chair declared the motion out of order. Councilman Erler appealed from the chair. <br />Thereupon, a roll call was had and the motion failed by a vote of 4 ayes - 4 nayes. <br />Thereupon Councilman Korpal nominated Ralph A. Richardson for Councilman- atrLarge. Councilman Muszynski seconded <br />the nomination. Councilman Glass nominated Edward J. Beahm for CouncilmanTat- Large. Councilman Bestle seconded <br />the nomination.
