REFULAR MEETING DECEMBER 222 1947. Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council Chambers, City Hall, December 22nd, 1947, at 7 :45 P.Y., vith all members present. President Brannan presided. The reading of the Minutes o{ the previous meeting was waived. COHNUNIC ATION A Resolution adopted by the Common Council of the City of Elkhart, State of Indiana, relative to the immediate erection of a State Hospital for mental patients in a central location in Northern, Indiana, was read by.the Clerk. Councilman Heideman rade a motion that the communication be acknowledged and placed on file. Councilman Richardson seconded the motion. ;;lotion carried. Monies from H- 251A,Street Lighting Fund, Your Committee of the hole, to whom was referred an Ordinance transferring, to H -261, Garbage Colledtion 16,341.57, Declaring an emergency, Respectfully report that they have em fined the matter and that in their opinion this Ordinance shall be reported to the Council as favorable.
