<br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South'Bend, Indiana, met in regular session in the
<br />Council Chambers, City call, October 27th, 1947, at 7 :35 P.M., with all members present except Councilman
<br />Richardson. President -Brannan presided. The reading of the Minutes of. the previous meeting was waived.

<br />Councilman Niesgodski made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion.

<br />REPORT OF THE ORDINE CE COMMITTEE
<br />October 27th, 1947.
<br />Your Committee has met and studied the Ordinance to amend Zoning Ordinance No. 2331, which would
<br />limit the leight of buildings and cancel permits already issued.
<br />Because of the legal involvements' contained therein and the importance of the subject matter and its
<br />effect upon the welfare of South "end, your Committee advises that it has not been able at this time
<br />to arrive at a definite position and requests further time in v+h.ich to report. .

<br />Councilman - Mirocha made a motion that the Ordinance be set for Public Hearing on November 10th, 1947, at
<br />7 :30 P.11.. There was no second to the motion. Motion lost.
<br />The Ordinance Committee was granted another two weeks for further study of this Ordinance.

<br />emergency. •
<br />Respectfully report that they have examined the-matter and that in their opinion this Ordinance shall be
<br />reported to the Council as favorable.
