Councilman Brannan seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried. <br />QRDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATION OF THE USE AND <br />OPERATION OF STEAM BOILERS, STEAM OR INTERNAL COMBUSTION <br />- ENGINES. TURBINES, COMPRESSORS, AND OTHER RELATED, UNFIRED, <br />OR FIRED PRESSURE VESSMS OR EQUIPMENT; PROVIDING FOR THE <br />LICENSING, CLASSIFICATION AND REGULATION OF THE OPERATORS <br />THEREOF: PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION OF A BOARD OF EXAMINERS <br />WITH UIE POWER AND DUTY TO EXAMINE APPLICANTS FOR LICENSES <br />AND DEFINING THE QUALIFICATIONS, POKERS, DUTIES AND TERMS <br />OF OFFICE OF THE MEMBERS OF SAID EXAMINING BOARD: PROVIDING <br />FOR THE EXAMINATION OF APPLICANTS FOR LICENSE TO OPERATE <br />EQUIPMENT MENTIONED ABOVE AND FIXING FEES FOR SUCH EXAM - <br />INATION AND SUCH LICENSES; PROVIDING FOR'THE SUSPENSION, <br />REVOCATION AND REINSTATEMENT OF LICENSES; PROVIDING FOR <br />THE REGULATION OF THE OPERATION OF SUCH EQUIPMENT; AND PRO- <br />VIDING PENALTIES FOR HHE VIOLATION HEREOF. <br />The Ordinance was given first reading. Councilman Neizgodski made a motion that the Ordinance be referred to <br />the Grievance Committee and that they meet with the City Attorney and representatives of the Ordinance, on Dece <br />5th, 1946. Councilman Richardson seconded the motion. Councilman Neizgodski withdrew his motion and Council <br />Richardson withdrew his second. <br />The Ordinance was given-second reading. Councilman Brannan made a motion that the Ordinance be set for Public <br />Hearing on December 9th, 1946, at 7 :30 P.M. Councilman Heideman seconded the motion. Councilman Richardson <br />made an amendment to the - motion that the Ordinance be referred to the Ordinance Committee and that they make a <br />report'at the Public Hearing on December 9th, 1946. Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION <br />November 25, 1946. <br />RESOLVED.
