<br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Regular Session,
<br />in the Council Chambers, City Hall, October 28th, 1946, at 7 :50 P.M., with all members present
<br />except Councilman Hull. President Korpal presided. The reading of the Minutes of the previous meeting was
<br />waived.
<br />PETITION

<br />We, the undersigned property owners, petition your honorable body to improve Dunham & Harris Streets,
<br />by the construction of a Street Light.

<br />Councilman Mirocha made a motion that the petition be referred to the Board of Public Works and Safety.
<br />Councilman Brannan seconded the motion. Motion carried.

<br />of the Ordinances of the -City of South Bend, Indiana.(On both sides of Fisher Street from Harris Street
<br />West to the First Alley). _
<br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance shall
<br />go to the..,Council_ as favorable.

<br />Your Committee of The Whole, to whom was referred an Ordinance appropriating the amount of $675.00 from
<br />the Pane =Maintenance Fund of the Department'of Public Parks of the Civil City of South bend, Indiana,
<br />for the uses and purposes of Budgetary Account No. 251 (Services Contractual) for repairs of buildings
<br />and structures.
<br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance shall
<br />go to the Council as favorable.

<br />Services Personal., Regular (Supervisors Salary For South Fend Public Natatorium) in the amount of- $675.00
<br />as provided in the 1946 Budget of the Department of Public Parks for the Civil City of South bend, Indiana.
<br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance shall
<br />be reported tp the Council as favorable.

<br />Councilman Bishop seconded the motion.

<br />Gentlemen:
<br />The Petition of Robert Gratzol, et. al., for change of zoning classification of Lots 37, 38 and 39, in
<br />Oakland Park Addition, from its present classification of "B" Use and "A" Height and area district to
<br />"D" Light Industrial and "E "'Height and Area District, was considered by the City Plan Commission, at a
<br />Special Meeting, October 9th;.1946.
<br />These lots are at Emerson St., and North Side Blvd., The City Plan Comnnission recommends this change as
<br />petitioned for.

<br />Councilman Richardson made a motion that the Council concurs with the action of the City Plan Commission.
