REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 13 1945
<br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of Solat� B6_nd Indiana, met in regular session in the
<br />Council Chambers, City Hall, on Monday, August 13th, 1945„ a 1 �hembers present except Councilmen, Brannan,
<br />Hull, Niezgodski and Bishop. Fresident sirocha presided. The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting
<br />was waived.
<br />COMMUNICATION
<br />A communication from L. M. Coffman, Box 2537 "A ", South Bend, with regard to house - holders using the alleys for
<br />dumping junk of all descriptions, was read end upon motion of Councilman Richardson, seconded by Councilman
<br />Korpal, it was ordered placed on file.
<br />A copy of a letter from Ernest H. Miller, City Traffic Engineer, to the Board of forks and Safety, City of South
<br />Bend, regarding the installation of a traffic light at the corner of Mishawaka Avenue and Twyckenham Drive, was read
<br />was ordered placed on file on motion af:Councilman Richardson, seconded by Counclman Korpal.
<br />A copy of a letter from Ernest H. Miller, City Traffic Engineer, to Mr, W. A. Underwood, Superintendent of Ways
<br />and Construction, South Shore Railroad Company, Michigan City, Indiana, was read and upon motion of Councilman
<br />Heideman, seconded by Councilman Korpal, it: -was ordered placed on file.
