ORDINANCE NO.-3508 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT FOR THE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF GARBAGE DURING THE CALENDAR YEAR 1945 MADE AND ENTERED INTO BET'A7EEN THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND BLUE LINES, IN_CL, AN INDIANA CORPORATION. The ordinance was given first and second reading. Councilman Richardson made a motion for the suspension of rules. Councilman Mirocha seconded the motion. ORBIYANCE NO. 3509 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING, RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING A CERTAIN AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO BETWEEN THE BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND THE STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF INDIANA. Attorney Farabaugh reported to the Council that the railroad company had approved the expenditure of money and requisition had been placed for materials necessary for the repair of the Arnold, Meade and Olive St. crossings - said materials to be delivered in two or three weeks.
