Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council Chambers, City Hall, on Monday, August 28, 1944, at 10 :15 P.M. with all members present. President Niezgodski pre- sided. The reading of the - minutes of the previous meeting was waived. REPORT OF THE C91AITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: 8/28/44 Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2331 "(Lots 16,17 and 18 Robinson's 2nd Division) Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance shall be reported to the Council as favorable. rm. REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: 8/28/44 Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "An ordinance transferring certain specified amounts from the General Funds of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to the following Accounts: To the account No. H251A - ,Repair of buildings - $500.00 To the account No. M216 - Building Department travel expenses $ 50.00 To the Account No. Q222 - Electrical Current $225.00 To the Account No. V321 - Coal $ 75.00 Appropriating the said amounts to the said account: Declaring an Emergency. REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: 8/28/44 Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "An ordinance reducing the appropriation for the Budgetary Year 1944 for the personal service account "S12 in the Budget of the Street 'Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana in the amount of $975.00; transferring the said amount to the Street and Traffic Fund of said City: transferring certain funds from the Street & Traffic Fund to certain accounts in the budget of the Street Department of the City, as follows:; To account No. S221 - Electrical Current - $ 75.00 To account No. S261 - Medical and Surgical 750.00 To account No. S214 - Telephone & Telegraph 150.00 Appropriating said amounts to said accounts: :Declaring an emergency.
