348 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council <br />Chambers, City Hall, on Monday, November 8, 1943, at 7 :45 P.M. with all members.present. President Brannan presided <br />The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was .deferred. <br />The Miscellaneous Committee made a report on the condition of the city jail. The report was ordered placed on file <br />on motion of Councilman Niezgodski, seconded by Councilman Bishop. <br />REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE November 8, 1943 <br />Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "An ordinance transferring certain funds from the Park Maintenance <br />Fund of the Department of Public Parks of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana" <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance should go to the <br />Council favorably. <br />W.
