333 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the .City of South Bend met in regular session in the Council Chambers, <br />City Hall, Monday, March 8, 1943, with all members present. President Brannan presided. The reading of the minutes <br />of the previous meetir_o was waived. <br />A communication from Mrs. L. M. Coffman, regarding summer water rates, was referred to the Water Works Commissioner <br />on motion of .Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Heideman. <br />A communication from the Purple Heart Tobacco Fund was accepted and ordered placed on file on motion of Councilman <br />McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Bishop. <br />REPORT OF T?iE COaf'RITTEE OF THE '.%dHOLE March 8, 1943 <br />To the Commmon Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee of the Whole to ivhom was referred "Ordinance and agreement between the City of So. Bend? and the Fede <br />al Works Agency, Public Roads tdministration - (So.Main St. from Chippewa Ave. to Farneman Ave.) <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance shall be reported <br />to the Council as favorable. <br />Wm.
