325 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend met in regular session in the Council Chambers, <br />City Hall, Monday, October 26, 1942, at 7 :40 P.M. with all members present except Councilman Hull. President <br />Pulaski presided. The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was waived. <br />PETITION September 28, 1942 <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend, assembled: <br />We the undersigned business men in the 2200 block, Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend being seriously affected by the NO <br />PARKING restrictions imposed upon us, recommend and petition that these restrictions be removed in favor of a one <br />hour parking zone and that the cross walks be removed from 23rd street ending on the North side of Mishawaka Avenue <br />to the bus stop at the corner of 23rd street ending on the South side of Mishawaka Avenue. <br />(9 Signers) <br />REPORT OF STREETS & ALLEYS CCWAITTEE(on bottom of above petition) <br />We, the Streets &_Alleys Committee, favor the above petition and recommend action by the Boardof Works & Safety in <br />accordance. Helmen, Jr., Floyd R.
