ORDINANCE NO. q ~ ~ ~ " <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, APPROPRIATING $125,672 FROM THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL <br />SERVICES CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />The City of South Bend Fire Department wishes to purchase clear command systems for all <br />members of the Department. The appropriation of these monies will allow the Department to utilize <br />a Federal Grant to purchase this equipment, thus allowing the Fire Department to fight fires more <br />effectively and protect our firefighters and the public. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That the following sum of money is hereby appropriated from the Emergency <br />Medical Services Capital Improvement Fund (#288) for the purchase of new equipment: <br />ACCOUNT NO. DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br />288-0902-422-43-09 Fire Department Equipment Fund $125,672 <br />Section 2.
