162 <br />REPORT OF COMMITTEE ON MINUTES <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that <br />they have inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. <br />They therefore recommend that the same be approved. <br />June 12, 1939 <br />August 7, 1939 <br />August 14, 1939 <br />Committee- <br />Councilman Brannon made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Pulaski seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br />To the Common Council October 19, 1939 <br />City of South Bend, Ind. <br />Gentlemen: <br />Petition for change of zoning classification of Lots #373, 374 and 375 of the original plat of <br />South Bend has not been acted upon by the City Plan Commission. <br />The principal petitioner has asked that this petition be tabled. <br />Yours truly, <br />D. Moomaw, Sect. <br />Councilman Pulaski made a motion that the petition be tabled. Councilman Bishop seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Niezgodski made a motion to have the president of the Board of Works notify the <br />Northern Indiana Railway Company to continue their present schedule of transportation service <br />until such time as the report (check -up) and finding and any other material bearing on the <br />matter in question are presented by the railway company to the Board of Forks and Council. <br />Councilman Bishop seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Niezgodski made a motion to have the Board of Works ask the Chi. S.S. & S.B. Railroad <br />to install a flasher at the crossing of Olive Street and the South Shore tracks and to make a <br />report on same at the Council meeting of Novenber 13. Councilman Bishop seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried. <br />There being no further business, the Council meeting was adjourned. <br />ATTEST: APPROVED: <br />CLERK PRUIDENT <br />
