The <br />reading of the previous meeting was suspended. <br />60MMUNICATION <br />Resolution read as communication <br />BE.IT RESOLVED by the members of the duly appoimted and acting wage committee of the South Bend <br />Firemen's Association, composed of all members of the fire department of the City of South Bend, <br />as follows, to -wit: <br />1. That the Common Council of the City-of South Bend be, and they are hereby, requested to enact <br />an ordinance fixing the salaries for members of the Police, fire and electrical departments for <br />the year 1940 upon the same basis as salaries are now being paid to members of said departments. <br />2.
