The reading of the previous meeting was suspended. 60MMUNICATION Resolution read as communication BE.IT RESOLVED by the members of the duly appoimted and acting wage committee of the South Bend Firemen's Association, composed of all members of the fire department of the City of South Bend, as follows, to -wit: 1. That the Common Council of the City-of South Bend be, and they are hereby, requested to enact an ordinance fixing the salaries for members of the Police, fire and electrical departments for the year 1940 upon the same basis as salaries are now being paid to members of said departments. 2. That a copy of this resolution be sap-resented to the Common Council of the City of South Bead and copies thereof furnished to the inrii;ri,! -aa rne:nbers of said Coiimon" Council..
