MINUTES Be it remembered that the Common Council met in the Regular Session in the Council Chambers In the City Hall, August 30th, at the hour of 11 :17 P. M. All members were present. President Hull presided. :STATE OF INDIANA ) CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ST. JOSEPH COUNTY ) SS: CITY OF SOUTH BEND ) COMMON COUNCIL TO THE MEMBERS OF THE COY-MON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: You tare hereby gotified thPt under and by virtue of the authority by law vested in me as Mayor :)f the City of oath Bend, of the State of Indiana, a. Special meeting of the Common Council of said City is hereby called to meet at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P. M. or as soon thereafter as I-onvenient, on Tuesday evening, August 30th, 1939, for the purpose of considering the following: ORDINANCE NO. 3254 "An Ordinance appropriEti.ng moneys for the purpose of defraying the expenses of the Park Department of the City Government of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1939, and ending December 31, 1939, including all outstanding claims and obligations, and fixing e. time when the same shall take effect." Also ORDINANCE NO. 3255 "An Ordinance appropriatin moneys for the purpose of defraying the expenses of the several departments of the City Government of the City of mouth Bend,,Indiena, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1939, and ending December 31, 1939, including all out- stending claims and obligations and fixing a time when the same shall take effect." Also ORDINANCE NO. 3256 "An Ordinance fixing a tex levy for the yeer 1939, for the Mun- icipal Civil City of South Bend, Indiana." Dated this 30th day of August, 1939, A. D. Geor a W.
