All members were pre - <br />sent except 'Councilman Palicki. President Hull. rresid.ed. The reading of the minutes were <br />dispensed rith. ' <br />RESOLUTION: <br />BE IT FESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of South Bend recommend that the Board of <br />Public' Works and Safety instruct the City Engineer to draw an applieption for a d. P. A. project <br />for interceptor sewers from Logan Street to the proposed dipposhl plant on the river in the <br />proximity of the county f^rm, grid the construction of additional sewers to relieve or replace <br />those which are noun ir_ existence but inadequa=te; ^nd <br />BE IT th ^t the Board. of Public Works and Safety file the a.pplica -tion for this <br />W. P. A. project at the earliest rossibfe moment; n-nd <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Couzicil of the City of South Bend recommends to the <br />Bonrd of Public Works end Safety that they instruct the city engineer to prepc.re -en application <br />for r P. W. A. grFnt for the construction of a_ sewage disp osel plant, the river crossings and <br />the pumping strtions; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Public Works and Safety file this application for a. <br />P. W. A.' R�r ^nt as soon as possible after the filing of the W. P. A. project; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Controller present to the Council an ordina <nce tr'nnsferr- <br />ing from the, contingency fund the sum of two thousend five hundred 02,500.00) Uolla,Ts, to the <br />prover accounts to cover cost of preparing the application for P.
