SPECIAL MEETING MAY 119- th, 1935 MINUTES Be it remembered that the Common Council met in the Special Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Wednesday evening May 18th, at the hour of 7:35 P.M. All members were pre- sent except Councilman Rasmussen. President Hull presided. STATE OF INDIANA I ST. JOSEPH COUNTY }SS: CITY OF SOUTH BEND ) To the Members of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indinne: CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING OF COMMON COUNCIL You are hereby notified that under end by virtue of the authority by law vested'in me as Mayor of the City of South Bend, of the State of Indipna, a special meeting of the Common Council of said City is hereby called to be held at the hour of 7 :30 P. ORDINANCE NO. 3249 An Ordinance appropriating the sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00) from the funds to be received from the Auditor of St. Joseph Coutty under order of the Portage Township Trustee for funds to be supplied to assist the Municipal City of South Bend in the sponsoring of pre iects pursuant to an agreement filed with this body entered into by and between the Board of Public Works end Safety and the Portage Township Trustee and to be e -fund known as the Spec - ial W. P. A. Fund. The ordinance was given Its first reading by title, tits second reading in full and on motion of Councilmen Chambers urns referred to the Committee of the Whole and public hearing on May 31st. Coupcilmpn Pelicki seconded the motion. Motion carried. RESOLUTION R E S 0 L U T I 0 N RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL APPROVING THE ACTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY IN ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE PORTAGE TOWNS-KIP TRUSTEE FOR THE ADVANCING OF FUNDS TO ASSIST SAID CITY IN PROMOTING WORK'S PROJECTS. BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana.: That the action of the Board of Public Works and Safety under date of May 18, 1938, in entering Into a certain agreement in rritinp� with the Portage Township.Trustee for the e.dvancing of certain contributions to said City and the acceptance of said contributions by said City under the conditions and terms set forth in spid agreement, a. copy of which is filed herewtih, mek ked
