<br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South-Bendi. Indiana, met in the
<br />Special Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Monday eyeing, August 30th, °19371,
<br />at the hour of 9:17 P. M. All members were present except Councilmen Goetz. president Fish
<br />presided.

<br />To the Members of the Common Council
<br />of the City of South Bend, India.na.:
<br />You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority by law vested in me as
<br />Mayor of the City of South Bedd, of the State of Indiana, a special meeting of the Common Council
<br />of said City -is hereby called to be held at the hour of-.7:30 o'clock P. M. or as soon thereafter
<br />as convenient, on Monday evening August 30th, 1937, in the Council Chambers in said City, for -
<br />the purpose of considering the udget for the Fiscal year beginning' January lst, 1935 and endt_pg
<br />December 31st, 1938 and also the Tax-Levy for the year 1935 , and the following.ordinances-t rit
<br />*Ordinance No. 224 appropriating monies for the purpose of defraying the expenses of the
<br />Policemen's Pension Fund of the City Government of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the fis-
<br />cal year beginning January-1. 1935, and ending December-31, 1935; including all outstanding claims
<br />and obligations, and fixing a time when the same shall take effect."
<br />"Ordinance No. 3225 -appropriating - monies for the °purpose of defraying -tbe expenses of- the
<br />City Plan Cornmiseion of the City of South, Bend, Indiana; for the, fib cal year-beginning January
<br />1, 1931; and ending December 31, 1935, including all contractual obligations and fixing a time
<br />when the same shall take effect."
<br />"Ordinance No. 3226 °. - -a ropreting monies - -for, the purpn'se. of_ defraying the _.expenses of the
<br />Park Department of the City ovarnment _of the City -of South Bend; Indiana, for- the fiscal year
<br />beginning.:-January 1, 1935; and ending December 31, 1.938, including all outstanding claims and
<br />obligations, a.nd'fixing a time when the same shall take effect."
<br />"Ordinance No. 3227 appropriating monies for the purpose of defraying the expenses of the
<br />several departments of the City Goverhment of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the fiscal
<br />year beginning January 1, 1935, and ending'December 31, 1935, including all outstanding claims
<br />and obligations, and fixing a time when the same shall take effect."
<br />"Ordinance No. 3228 fixing the tax levy for the year 1935 for the Municipal Civil City of
<br />South Bend, Indiana."
