MINUTES <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana met in'- <br />the Regular Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Monday evening, February 8th, 1937 <br />at the hour of 9:10 P.M. All members were present. President Fish presided. Councilmen Goetz <br />moved that thezeading of the minutes for the last meeting be dispensed with. Councilmen Rasmusse <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />REFORT OF THE .00MMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: #3200 <br />Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred en Ordinance providing for the adm- <br />inistration and enforecement of the regulations governing traffic upon the Public Streets of the <br />City of South Bend establishing a C4ty Traffic Engineer and setting forth his duties, also est- <br />ablishing a treffic division end bureau and setting forth the membership And duties of -such <br />bureau, and repealing such perts of ordinances that may be in conflict herewith only insofar P's <br />the conflict and supplementing the traffic ordinances, but in no way repealing the intent.or pur- <br />poses of said. ordinances. <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion should be re- <br />ported favorable, as ?mended. Geo. W. Goetz, Chairman. <br />The report was accepted by the Council and ordered to be placed on file.
