MINUTES Be it.remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Special Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, ??ondev evening, September 21st, 1936, at the hour of 7 :40 P. M. All members were present except Councilmen Chamberfi and Council- men Kerner. President Fish presided. STATE OF INDIANA ST. JOSEPH COUNTY SS; CITY OF SOUTH SEND To the Members of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: CALL FOR SPECIAL 1EETING OF COMMON COUNCIL You are hereby notified that under and by virtue of the authority by law vested in me as Mnyor of the City of South Bend, of•the State of Indiana, a special meeting of the Common Council of said City is hereby called to be held et the hour of 7:30 o'clock P. ORDINANCE NO. 31 ,58 An Ordinance appropriating certain sums from the General Fund or Operating Balance in the Department of Public Parks in the City of South Bend, Indiana, to certain subdivisions in said Depnrtment and transferring certain.sums from subdivisions in said department to other sub- divisions in the same department, all vs hereinafter set out. The ordinance was given its first reading by title, its second reeding in full end on Motion of Councilmen Hull was referred to the Committee of the Whole and also that a public hear- ing be held October 5th, 1936. Councilman Goetz seconded the motion. Motion carried. Councilman James suggested that if the dark board engineer finds out by October 5th that more money is needed he should let the council know. Alec that Mr. Fred Anderson be present at the public heerir_g on October 5th, 1036. ORDIFANCE NO. 318 An Ordinance epproprinting the sum of Three Hundred Eleven Dollars from the General Fund of the City of South Bend to Account H -14 -A, the seme being the account for repairs of Build- ings, Structures under the Board. of Public Works. The Ordinance was given its first reading by title, its second reeding in full and on motion of Councilman James was referred to the Committee of the Whole end also that a public hear• ing be held October 5th, 1936. Councilman Goetz seconded the motion. Motion carried.. There being no further business, Councilmen Hull moved to adjourn. Councilmen Bi.ervvagen seconded the motion. Motion.Carried.
